The sale of this property didn’t go exactly accordingly to plan, but how many do? Michael handled everything admirably. The property was tenanted until March, given to him to sell at a less than optimal time of year (the lead-up to Christmas), and he proposed a strategy that saved us an advertising outlay during a period of traditionally low activity, while allowing him to canvass his contacts for prospective buyers. We had a contract not long into the new year, but it was withdrawn during the cooling off period. Who does that? Another contract for the same sale price was quickly in place, and after dealing with an NSW solicitor who was tending to her first QLD contract (ie: how to complicate everything), settlement actually occurred. Michael was very proactive throughout the process, making sure that all parties were fully informed every step of the way. The result, a successful sale at a reasonable price, and not a cent spent on advertising. Good job!
